Dogma
Often feared for her temper, Acionna is actually a nurturing mother of life. It is said the narwhales act as her messengers. Acionna is worshiped in the Three Kingdoms as Akashia.

History
Acionna has stirred the sea creating life and protecting favored travelers. When the titans ruled these lands she fell in love with one. Arghast was a clan chief strong and fearless. The battle against the demons was never ending. Arghast was not immune to the beauty of the sea. He and Acionna poured their passions into one another. Not long after, Arghast was killed fighting a battle near the shores of modern day Hlofreden. Acionna gave birth to a child Targus. Targus shares the traits of a titan and a god. It is said that he will often take the form of a sea traveller to move among men in order to carry out his mother’s wishes.

Relationships to other religions
Acionna, after her affair with the titan took on a more difficult relationship with Urdemogn the earth god. Their relationship is much like that of the land and the sea. Symbiotic at times with points of tension that erode one or the other. It is said that the most violent storms are Acionna venting her rage against Urdemogn. A tsunami is said to be Urdemogn’s retaliation.

Depictions
Often depicted as a beautiful long haired woman. She cloths herself in sea foam and wearing a dress of waves and a laurel of kelp.

Divine Intervention
Acionna has been known to spare ships and villages from the ravages of the sea.

Divine Servants
Targus, her son, acts as a liaison between the gods beyond the veil and the prime material. Targus is a Demigod that can transform himself into the likeness of any humanoid. His mother’s water nature manifested in him as the ability to transform into water vapor and move about. As an immortal he has wandered among humankind for ages. Sometimes he is more engaged in the activities of mortals. Other times he looses interest and entertains himself in the ocean. As an immortal being of demigod status, he is actually susceptible to being bound by a Magus Arcani for a term of seven years. For this reason he is careful not to leave tokens behind, for these items could be used to bind him.
