Sig - I think I understand why Sidhe Lara was off limits now. We experienced something strange five years ago which was beyond disturbing, but I don’t think it exposed the true depths of this island. We merely scuffed the surface before. In the last two days, I’ve seen more strange things than I have the rest of my life. This morning I thought I was going to die from the bite of a two headed hound after sleeping on the border of a town full of specters stuck in a never ending loop. This afternoon we stepped through a nexus marked by a tree and entered a never-ending battle between two ancient forces. At least I no longer feel a chilly breeze from death’s door, partaking in the battle seems to have cured any ailments we were experiencing.
As we make our way to set charges at the foundation a bridge in order to help win this battle once and for all I can’t help but feel my head spin. Supposedly, Keela and her companions were on this battlefield not terribly long ago. They managed to disappear from the field, but the soldiers here aren’t sure if they found a way out or were slain by a soul blade. Either this Hail Mary that is being attempted will let us free or we’ll spend the rest of our days here looking for a better way to escape than the wrong end of a soul blade. I imagine endlessly fighting the same battle would become monotonous, but I rather like the idea of being relatively immortal. We’ll cross that bridge after we destroy the bridge we’re currently under.
