Dogma
This God is believed to be the land itself. Her power to give life and to take it all manifest in her domain. He name means to knead the earth, but it is often misquoted as need. It is said that she can shake the earth and spit fire into the sky. In the same stroke that she takes life she gives it back..

History
It is said in the early days she manifested in all things, today she is worshipped where fire erupts from the earth and where people earn their living from it. Miners and farmers were initially her primary followers. In recent years her sigil has been claimed by the Daimyo and it is now associated with his conquest of the southern kingdom. Many warriors and monks now pay tribute to her.

Depictions

Most often she is portrayed in the feminine form, but she has a masculine aspect as well. Often times in support of a great conquest or quest she will manifest as Hiko her male form. In other interactions she prefers the feminine form of Hime.

In either form the God presents in colorful ochre and ash colors often accented in jade.

Divine Servants
Dogs are cherished by devoted followers for their role as messengers between the spirit world and the material.

Church of Haniyasu
Few churches exist in honor of Haniyasu. Her followers are more pragmatic. Shrines and totems are honored each day and washed once per week and on holidays.

Temples and Shrines
A great garden exists in the capital of Edarrow honoring the goddess. It is said to be so perfect as to entice the goddess herself to visit.

Holy Texts
There are few if any texts devoted to a practice of worship. There are many tomes that recount the adventures of the goddess through the ages. These parables are often taught as life lessons to children during their formative education.

Holidays
The equinox and the solstice are sacred days for followers of Haniyasu.
